PSG are the holders of the French Cup and host Lille in the last 16. They will be without Neymar for this match as they bid to reach the final for the seventh straight season. PSG have won the cup 13 times and five times in the past six seasons. This game comes after a disappointing home league loss to Nantes. They led 1-0 but lost 2-1 and are three points behind league leaders and opponents in this semi-final.

PSG have no wins in their last three home games. Monaco and Nantes beat them in Ligue 1 and Barcelona held them to a 1-1 draw in the Champions League. It's a vital period for PSG with a trip to Lyon at the weekend and Lille at home in Ligue 1 on April 4. To reach this semi-final, PSG have beaten Brest and Caen without conceding a goal. They are now unbeaten in their last 38 games in this competition over 90 minutes. Their only loss was on penalties to Rennes in the 2019 final and the last loss over 90 minutes was in 2014. Their last 14 home cup ties have all been won.

Lille last won the French Cup in 2011 and they beat PSG to win that trophy. They lead Ligue 1 by three points but could only draw 0-0 at Monaco at the weekend. Lille aren't in the best of form with only two wins in their last eight league and cup games. One of those wins was in this competition away at Gazelec Ajaccio. They won that game 3-1 thanks to two own-goals. Before that win, they defeated Dijon 1-0 away. Back PSG to win this match and reach the quarter finals.
