The 19-11 Boston Celtics head west to take on the 12-19 Portland Trail Blazers late on Sunday night. Ahead of our prediction on the game, the home side are 10th in the Western Conference, while the Celtics are 3rd in the East.

This is game four of a five-game homestand for the Trail Blazers, 0-3 so far. The Detroit Pistons, the Orlando Magic and the Los Angeles Clippers have all left the Moda Center with the win.

They are just 5-9 at home overall compared to 7-10 on the road. They are just 3-7 in their last 10 on their own court, though one of those wins was over the West-leading Oklahoma City Thunder. 

Boston kicked off their five-game road swing with a win in Indiana against the Pacers. That was a much more open game than expected, 122 points for the Pacers was the second most the Celtics have given up in their last 20 games.

The Celtics have won six straight against the Trail Blazers as well as six straight when they have played in Oregon, with the majority of their best defensive performances this season coming on the road.
