Philadelphia Phillies are third in the National League East, four wins behind their opponents Atlanta Braves who top the division. The Phillies have a 14-14 season record with a 10-8 home record. As things stand, they will be in the play-offs, currently filling one of the wild card positions. August hadn't been going well with a series of defeats but have recovered well with a run of five wins in a row and three of them have comes against the Braves. Their most recent game saw them get a 4-1 win and they will be hoping to keep this good run going.

Atlanta top the division with an 18-14 season record and are on their way to the postseason. Their home form is the main reason they are in such a good position with 12 wins from 16 matches. It's not so good on the road though with ten of their sixteen matches being lost. Only two of their last eight have been won, a record that needs to improve if they want to progress further this season. Back the Phillies to continue their momentum and get another home win over the Braves.
