The Seattle Seahawks will be the favourites when they show up to Lincoln Financial Field for an NFL game with Philadelphia Eagles on Monday night. The Seahawks (7-3 this season) bounced back from a defeat to the Rams by stuffing the Cardinals 28-21 in the Thanksgiving fixtures. Meanwhile, the Eagles (3-6-1) are hoping to end a two-game losing streak when they welcome their upcoming opponents to Philly. Historically speaking, this seems unlikely. Seattle have a 6-2 record in Philadelphia, a dominant run that includes six wins in succession. This hot streak means that the last Eagles win at home to Seattle came in 1989. 31 years is a long time to wait for revenge, and we have bad news for the Eagles, it looks as though the wait may yet go on. Second in the NFL for points per game with 31.8, in addition to a 400 yards per game average, the Seahawks are in contention for Super Bowl glory this season. Seattle showed improvement in their pass rush game last week, landing three sacks and seven QB hits. A big reason for this improvement is the place of Carlos Dunlap in the team, the 31-year-old landing three QB takedowns in his last three games. 

This improvement is awful news for Carson Wentz, the luckless Eagles player being the most sacked QB in the NFL. Seattle's defence is weak, conceding an average of 28.7 points per game, so they will hope to capitalise on the poor form of Wentz. We only see this going the way of the Seahawks, who are well worth backing at minus 5.5.
