The high-flying Eagles bounced back from suffering their first defeat of the season last week and will now look to extend their record to a league best 10-1 when they welcome a struggling Packers team to the City of Brotherly Love. It’s been a rough run of things this season for Aaron Rodgers and Green Bay, who have only four wins from their 11 games, placing them third in the NFC North.

Green Bay could very well struggle against this unit as the Packers offense hasn’t been anywhere near to the level that many have become accustomed to an Aaron Rodgers led team performing. This shapes up to be an excellent quarterback duel between one of the greatest to ever do it taking on one of the league’s most exciting young talents. Aaron Rodgers’ resume speaks for itself and even with his team struggling mightily this season, the reigning back-to-back MVP has still managed to put up impressive numbers. Rodgers has thrown for 2,542 yards this season with 19 touchdowns and seven interceptions. Facing off against what could very well be this season’s MVP come the end of the season, Jalen Hurts is truly having a breakout year as the 24-year-old has ascended into superstar status due to his performances. Not only has Hurts thrown for 2,407 yards, 15 touchdowns and only three interceptions through the air but he has also chipped in another three touchdowns and 354 yards with his legs.

We’re going to back the Eagles to get the win here and cover the -6.5 spread at home. The Packers have not been a good team this season despite having one of the all-time greats calling the plays for them under center. The Eagles have shown their Super Bowl credentials week in and week out this season and deserve to be over a touchdown favorites against average to below-average teams. Getting this line under the hook at -6.5 is an excellent look and will be our play for this matchup.
