Paula Badosa vs Emma Navarro Prediction & Betting Tips - WTA Berlin Open

Eighth seed Paula Badosa takes on unseeded Emma Navarro in round two of the Berlin Open. For the winner, there's a match against either second seed Coco Gauff or qualifier Xinyu Wang. Here's our match prediction.

Badosa is the seeded player but only one place ahead of Navarro in the latest rankings. The Spaniard is at tenth and has a 16-9 record in 2025. This is her third match against Navarro and they are level at 1-1 but they've never met on grass.

This is Badosa's first grass court tournament of the year. A good start was made in round one as she beat German wild card Eva Lys and lost only four games. Last year saw Badosa reach round four at Wimbledon. That's the third time in the last four years she's lost at that stage.

Emma Navarro played at Queen's Club last week and was beaten by the eventual runner-up Amanda Anisimova in round two.  That was the third defeat suffered by Navarro in her last five matches. The 24-year-old had a 7-3 record on grass last year and beat Marta Kostyuk in round one here.

This could be a close match but we believe Badosa is in the slightly better form at present and can win this.
