Oakland Raiders start the weekend in second place in AFC West with a 6-7 record for the season. They bid to improve their chances of earning a wild card place with a home game against Jacksonville Jaguars who lie bottom of the AFC South and have only won four of their 13 games this season. The Raiders are ninth overall in the AFC, five places above their opponents. Current form for Oakland has seen them lose their last three with heavy defeats by Kansas City Chiefs, the New York Jets and the Tennessee Titans by an aggregate deficit of 83 points. With three games reamaining in the regular season, they will most likely have to win all of them to have a chance of a wild card place. At least they have won more games than last season and this week they have a far more winnable match on their hands. Only one of their last five home games has been lost

Jacksonville Jaguars can't make the play-offs and are 4-9 for the season. They were 5-11 last season and could well replicate that record this time around. The Jaguars were hoping to do a lot better than last season when after eight weeks, they were 4-4 but it's all gone wrong since for them with five defeats in a row. Like their opponents they have been suffering some heavy losses. Four of the last five defeats have been by at least 20 points. Only one of ther last four games on the road have been won and that was at Cincinnati Bengals who have only won one match this season. Go for the Raiders to get the win here.
