Nigeria are competing in their first African Cup of Nations tournament finals since winning it in 2013. They come into this tournament having had a successful period with an unbeaten run of eight games until losing to highly-fancied Senegal at the weekend. They have kept three clean sheets in their last five games but four of the last six have had under 2.5 goals scored in them.
They face Burundi who are competing in these finals for the first time ever. They were unbeaten in their group but drew four games and the only wins were against South Sudan who are ranked 168th in the world and one of those victories was back in 2017. Since that win two years ago, only two out of 14 matches have been won with Ethiopia (150th in the world) also beaten. English fans will recognise Saido Berahino who switched to the Burundi team and made his debut for them last year. He's not a prolific goalscorer though with five in his last 61 league games.
