The alarm bells may soon go off if Nice fails to rise from their early-season slump. They face Auxerre in the second match in Ligue 1, still searching for a first win at home and abroad. Read on for our prediction.
A late heartbreak was served on Nice in Toulouse as Les Aiglons conceded in the 89th minute to lose 1-0 in their league opener. This defeat came right after home and away losses to Benfica in the Champions League qualifiers.
That coming on the heels of the departure of one of their key players, Evann Guessand, doesn’t lift a lot of spirits. It is quite unusual to see Nice go three matches without scoring, as is the case.
