After mixed fortunes in their cup games, Newcastle Red Bulls return to Premiership Rugby action on Friday, taking on Leicester Tigers at Kingston Park. Alan Dickens' charges will look to turn the corner against the Tigers after a winless start. Here is our prediction.
Newcastle Red Bulls have been the whipping boys of Premiership Rugby this season. The Newcastle-based outfit head into Friday's clash stuck at the bottom of the standings with zero points following five straight defeats. This includes a 52-14 demolition by Harlequins in their last league outing.
They also suffered a heavy 43-0 shutout loss to Saracens in the Premiership Cup at the weekend. Overall, the Alan Dickens-led side have suffered defeat in seven of their last eight games, mostly by wide margins. Can they overturn this underwhelming performance against Leicester Tigers?
