The MLB Play-offs have produced a few surprises so far with Washington Nationals making it to their first World Series. Now attention turns to who their opponents will be and in the American League Championship series, Houston Astros lead the New York Yankees 2-1 in the best-of-seven series. The Yankees got off to an impressive start by taking the first game (played in Houston) 7-0. However, the Astros fought back and leveled the scores with a 3-2 win in their second home game with Carlos Correa hitting the winner.

The third match was played in New York but it was the Astros who got the win 4-1 to take them within two games of the World Series. The next two games are being played in New York and tonight's game sees the Yankees trying to get back level. Failure to do so will mean they would have to win each of the last three matches to qualify. Just as the weather affected the Rugby World Cup at the weekend, the same could happen to the MLB with heavy rain forecast for New York on Wednesday. If the game does go ahead, Giancarlo Stanton is likely to miss this match for the Yankees with Aaron Hicks likely to play.  The Yankees have been struggling to score in the past few games and the tip here is for Houston to get the win and reach the World Series.
