New York Mets vs Tampa Bay Rays Prediction & Betting Tips - MLB

The New York Mets still have an outside chance of making it into the MLB Play-offs. They host Tampa Bay Rays who are close to confirming their place in the postseason tournament. The Mets are fourth in the National League East with a 24-29 season record. Home form has seen them win 11 of their 26 games played. Their current form isn't too bad with three wins from their last five matches. The other two were defeats by the Atlanta Braves who top NL East. The Mets did get a good win over the Braves on Saturday though and they go into this game a couple of wins short of  wild card position. They will have Jacob DeGrom playing tor them in this match and they have a good record when he's in the team. All but two of the games he has started this season have been won.

The Tampa Bay Rays top the American League East division with a 35-19 season record, four wins ahead of the New York Yankees. 18 of their 28 away matches have been won including three victories in a series against the Baltimore Orioles who are one from bottom in the AL East. They did lose the most recent match against the Baltimore side and they do have a few problems at present. Offense is inconsistent and all but one of their last six games has seen them score three or fewer runs. The absence of some big hitters isn't helping and the Mets can get a valuable win in this game.
