Napoli vs Sassuolo Prediction & Betting Tips - Serie A

Unlike last season, Napoli have made a strong start to the new Serie A season. They begin the weekend in second place on 11 points, two behind leaders AC Milan and host Sassuolo who are third and on the same points. Napoli would have another point but had one deducted after failing to turn up for their away game at Juventus. Take away that health-related incident and Napoli have won all four league games played and scored 14 goals. Home form has been great this season in Serie A with a 6-0 win over Genoa and 4-1 defeat of Atalanta, an impressive performance indeed. They have won their last five home league games and eight of the last nine. At leaat two goals have been scored by Napoli in each of their last 11 home league matches.

Sassuolo are yet to lose in Serie A this season with three wins and two draws. There have been plenty of goals in their games with 16 scored and nine conceded.  Sassuolo have ten points from their last four league games and thee have been 20 goals scored. Two of those wins came against newly promoted Spezia and Crotone. It hasn't been a difficult fixture list as three of the teams played are in the bottom four. The two most recent games saw them win 4-3 at Bologna, despite trailing 3-1 with 26 minutes to go and a 3-3 draw with Torino. Again against Torino they went 3-1 down but this time scored two goals in the last six minutes to rescue a point. They don't seem to have the defence that will cope with an in-form Napoli, go for a home win with Napoli ahead at half and full time.
