Mirra Andreeva vs Hailey Baptiste Prediction & Betting Tips - WTA Wimbledon Championships

Seventh seed Mirra Andreeva attempts to reach the last 16 at Wimbledon for the second time. To do so, the Russian must defeat unseeded American Hailey Baptiste. Here's our match prediction.

Andreeva first played this grass court Grand Slam in 2023 and that's when the last 16 was reached. Last year saw her lose in round one but the 18-year-old is having an excellent 2025. Two WTA 1000 hard court tournaments have been won.

So far this week, two matches against Mayar Sherif and Lucia Bronzetti have been won without a set being dropped. Andreeva is now fifth in both the live rankings and the WTA Race.

Hailey Baptiste has been struggling for consistency in 2025. Only twice has the 23-year-old made it past round three of a tournament. Her best performance has been a hard court tournament in January.

A win here would take her into a second successive fourth round of a Grand Slam having achieved that feat at Roland Garros but that was of course on clay. Her grass court campaign began poorly with two losses in qualifying rounds.

Much better form has been shown at Wimbledon with wins over Sorana Cirstea (after losing the first set) and lucky loser Victoria Mboko. That's taken her to a career-high 42nd. We tip Andreeva to win in straight sets.
