It's been a great start to the season for Middlesbrough with five points from their first three games. They had an impressive transfer window buying players in all positions that have really strengthened their squad. It's not been the hardest of starts to be fair with Stoke, Sunderland and WBA the opposition. A win over Sunderland and two draws might indicate problems when they face top sides but Crystal Palace definitely don't fall into that category. They struggled throughout the second half of the season and it was probably only that FA Cup Final appearance that kept Alan Pardew in his job. One point from three games this season might have a few of you popping down the bookies to put a bet on him being the next Premier League manager to leave his club, I wouldn't put you off to be honest. Again they are struggling for goals with just one in three games and that was a last minute equalizer against Bournemouth. Losses to WBA and Spurs indicate that Middlesbrough are more than capable of getting a second win of the season.
