Both City and United are battling to get into the Champions League and whoever drops points here will see their hopes hit. Teams like Liverpool and Arsenal will be begging for this game to end in a draw so both sides drop points. City start the game in that treasured fourth place but are only a point ahead of United. Arsenal will have played Leicester by the time this game starts and with a win would be three points behind United and four behind United. Of course United still have a good chance of reaching the promised land of the Champions League by winning the Europa League.  City will be disappointed after being knocked out of the FA Cup at the weekend, their last chance of winning a trophy in Guardiola's first season. The home side have won their last two league games to end a struggling run and on home territory have only lost once all season but drawn six out of 15 games including three of the last five. Manchester United will be out for revenge after losing at home to City in September, their only defeat at Old Trafford all season. They are in good form, particularly away from home with eight wins and two draws in the last ten. If they played like that at home they might still be challenging for the title. No Ibrahimovic though which is a big blow. A difficult game to predict but one that should be great to watch, go for both teams to score.
