Manchester City had won their first six Premier League games of the season before coming unstuck at Tottenham in their last league game before the international break. At home they have a 100% home record with seven goals in the last two games. Everton are fifth in the table and also only lost one of their league games this season. Usually they make a slow start but a win here would take them to within a point of the league leaders. The last three games in all competitions have been a bit worrying for them. They lost to Norwich in the League Cup, then lost their unbeaten record at Bournemouth and were held to a draw by Crystal Palace at home. That form indicates that Manchester City can get the home win here.
