Boston Red Sox had won the first two games of this best-of-seven World Series but then Los Angeles Dodgers got themselves on the scoreboard with a win in the third game, So, with Boston 2-1 up, this fourth game is a crucial one. A Boston win means that the Dodgers would have to win all three remaining games, but if LA win, then they are back level and it's a best-of-three to determine the World Series winners. The third game will go down in history because it was the longest game in the World Series, finally ending after seven hours and 20 minutes with 18 innings. Max Muncy got the winner to give LA a 3-2 win and put themselves just one behind with four matches to play. The previous record was five hours and 41 minutes

The Dodgers host this fourth game but so nearly lost that marathon match. Boston second baseman Ian Kinsler's throw was off-target and that allowed LA to level the match. That was a rare slip-up by Boston who have been in fine form prior to this defeat. It'll be interesting to see how much the seven hour game will have taken out of each team's players but LA know that they have to get a win here at home or they'll not be able to afford another defeat as they bid to win the World Series for the first time in 30 years. Both teams will be fired up by that third game, Boston desperate to get back on track and LA believing they could be level come Sunday. A tough game to predict, but surely Boston can't make the same errors twice in a row, so go for them to get the win.
