Liverpool start the weekend in fourth place just two points off the top of the table. They take on a Manchester United side that are sixth and three points behind Liverpool. A win therefore for the home side would take them six points clear of their rivals. Not bad considering Liverpool have only played two home league games this season and five away from home including visits to Arsenal and Chelsea (that they both won) and Spurs (where they drew). Nine goals in two home games is positive news for Liverpool. Manchester United had that strong start to the season but a loss at Watford and home draw against Stoke are worrying results. Rooney is still a problem and does the Special One really know his best United line-up. Liverpool have the momentum here and can get the home win.
