Liverpool start the weekend in third place and are five points above Manchester United in fifth place. They have already played two games more than their rivals for a Champions League place and are nine clear of Arsenal who are on FA Cup duty this weekend so will have three games in hand at the end of this weekend. All Liverpool can do is keep winning and get the points safely in the bag. They are in good form with five wins and two draws in their last seven league games. At Anfield they are on a six game unbeaten league run and have lost just one of sixteen home league games this season. Crystal Palace are in 15th place seven points clear of the relegation zone with a game in hand. They only have one defeat in their last seven league games but the last seven on the road have seen three wins and four defeats so you never quite know what they will do next. Liverpool are in form and very strong at home so they can get the win here to boost their Champions League hopes.
