Leeds vs Brighton Prediction & Betting Tips - Championship

By the time this game begins, second placed Brighton may only be three points clear of Huddersfield in third. The Yorkshire side travel to Bristol City on Friday aiming to close the gap. What has to be said though is that Brighton have a far superior goal difference (+32 v +8) so that's another point in the bag really. Brighton have to keep going though and this is one of their toughest remaining games. Leeds United fans will just be glad that they are  fourth in the table and looking at least set for the play-offs. They trail Brighton by 11 points but more importantly are five points clear of seventh placed Fulham. This is their best chance in years of getting back into the Premier League and they haven't sacked a manager all season!  Leeds have the fourth best home record in the division with 12 wins and only 12 goals conceded in 19 games. Recent form has seen them get eight home wins, a draw and a loss to Cardiff. Those ten games have only produced 17 goals though with Leeds scoring 14 and conceding just three. With two coming in that loss to Cardiff, that means the other nine have seen just one goal conceded by the home side and none in the first half of any game. Brighton have got themselves back into form with two wins over Rotherham and Derby after a dodgy spell of two defeats by Newcastle and Nottingham Forest. Away from home, Albion have only won two of their last six league games and one of those was against Rotherham who are stranded at the bottom of the table. A difficult game to predict and a bet on under 2.5 goals looks the way to go.
