Lazio had to do it the hard way but came away from Torino on Tuesday with a 2-1 win. That kept them in second place and they look to get another victory when hosting seventh placed Milan. Lazio trailed at Torino but two second-half goals gave them a vital win. They trail leaders Juventus by four points with nine games remaining. One of those is a trip to Juventus on July 27th, a game they'll probably need to win if wanting to be crowned champions. They have four games to play before that vital clash, with three of them against sides battling relegation. That's not the case here though, as they host Milan. Lazio are yet to lose a home league game this season, Juventus are the only other side to still be unefeated on home soil. 12 out of 15 home league games have been won by Lazio with 41 goals scored and just 11 conceded. That's the best scoring record at home and only Juventus have conceded less, so Lazio are strong at both ends of the pitch. Their last three home games have all been won. They have scored at least twice in 11 of their last 13 home league games.

Milan are seventh and that should be enough to get them into the Europa League next season. Napoli are sixth, two points ahead of Milan but won the Italian Cup recently so are already set for some Thursday night football next season. Milan ran into problems at relegation-threatened SPAL on Wednesday evening. Their opponents were rock bottom of Serie A but surprisingly went 2-0 up against Milan inside half an hour. Soon after they were reduced to ten men but Milan pulled a goal back in the 79th minute and got an equalizer in the 94th thanks to an own goal. Milan are unbeaten in their last three away league games but this looks too tough a task for them. Go for Lazio to get the win here to keep the pressure on Juventus.
