Kosovo are on eight points after five group games and a victory over Montenegro would strengthen their hopes of finishing in the top two places. They won't have been too happy with England losing to the Czech Republic on Friday. That surprise result leaves Kosovo in third, four points behind England and the Czech Republic but with a game in hand on the Czechs. If Kosovo are to finish in the top two and automatically qualify for the finals, they are going to have to do it the hard way. Following this home game against Montenegro, they travel to the Czech Republic and then end the group by hosting England.
They have to get a win in this match and so far they are unbeaten at home in this group. They beat the Czechs and drew with Bulgaria, they'll be wishing they'd beaten Bulgaria though. At least Kosovo have a play-off position confirmed after winning their UEFA Nations League group last season. Montenegro are in fourth place in this group with just three points from six games. They are yet to win a group match and have just one point from two away games. Kosovo can be backed to get a vital home win.
