Cleveland Indians sit at the top of American League Central with 90 wins from their 161 games. They continue their run of games against the bottom team in the league Kansas City Royals who have won 58 but lost 103 of their matches.  Cleveland are heading for the play-offs and this match is the regular-season finale and they face a Kansas team who have had a poor season but making a strong finish with 15 wins from their last 19 home games. The danger man for Kansas is Whit Merrifield who will be aiming to take his hitting streak up to 20 games,something no player from Kansas has managed in more than 30 years. He's top in the league for stolen bases and hits and his team have won five of their last six matches. Their season ends here but for Cleveland they have the play-offs starting on Friday and have several players who are in top form but had injury worries on Saturday when catcher Yan Gomes was injured, but he should be ok for the play-offs.  This match hasn't got much riding on it but the Indians will want a win before the play-offs,so go for them to get the victory.
