Juventus - Roma: Form Analysis
Juventus are in a rich vein of form and are going through their best run of results this season. Luciano Spalletti’s men have won five of their last six fixtures.
This strong run has kept them close to the chasing pack in the league and boosted their Champions League knockout round hopes. La Fidanzata d'Italia got back to winning ways in the league last time out with a 1-0 victory away to Bologna.
That was their seventh win in the competition and took them to 26 points, seven off the top spot. With only one win so far against teams in the top five, Juve will be eager not to allow Roma to come away with a result.
Both Roma and Juventus are coming off winning outings in Serie A.
Roma have a dismal record against Juventus, winning just one of their last 10 meetings. There is a positive in this stretch, though, as defeats haven’t been plentiful. Five of those encounters ended in shared spoils.
The Capital club, yet to draw a game this season, will hope to avoid another stalemate as it seeks to steal a march in the title race. Roma have accumulated 30 points and are just three points off the pace.

Once again Juventus will be without Dusan Vlahovic, who is injured, and Teun Koopmeiners due to suspension. However, Daniele Rugani and Bremer are back available after injury layoffs.
Lois Openda and Jonathan David have scored three goals between them, and either could lead the line on Saturday. Kenan Yildiz has been Juve’s star man this season, netting five of his six goals in the league while adding a further four assists.
Artem Dovbyk is set to return from injury in a boost for Roma.
Roma will be without Neil El Aynaoui and Evan Ndicka, who are away on international duty at the AFCON tournament. Both have been constant fixtures, especially Ndicka, for Gasperini’s side, and their absence is a big blow.
To offset this, Artem Dovbyk is likely to make his return this weekend after more than a month out with injury. Matias Soule has netted four league goals and is likely to start in attack against his former team.
