Juventus - Inter Milan: Form Analysis
Juventus have now failed to win the Italian league title for the last five seasons. They go into the sixth fully optimistic that they can return the glory days to the Allianz Stadium.
Two straight wins to start their league campaign look good, especially for a side that had a poor run-out at the Club World Cup. They didn’t just win those opening matches; Juventus also kept clean sheets.
On matchday one, new signing Jonathan David netted a debut goal as they beat Parma 2-0 at home. They then went to the international break after a 1-0 victory in Genoa. In the last seven league matches, Juventus is unbeaten, with five wins.
Inter Milan has won the league title twice since Juventus last claimed it.
Though Inter Milan are making a first trip into Turin, this will not be the first time this season that they face a Turin side. In their opening game of the season, Inter blanked Torino 5-0.
They couldn’t build on it though, as before they headed out for the international break, they lost 2-1 to Udinese. Denzel Dumfries scored the opening goal, but they would soon be pegged back.
Having played back-to-back matches at home, Inter are now set for an acid test on the road. In their last nine away league matches, Inter managed just three wins.

Kenan Yildiz will love the prospect of facing Inter Milan while he is enjoying top form. The Turkish youngster was a key contributor to Inter Milan ending last season trophyless.
