Juventus vs Cagliari Prediction & Betting Tips - Serie A

After a fortnight off, Maurizio Sarri and his Juventus side are back in action in Serie A after a 3-1 Supercoppa Italia defeat to Lazio and they will host Cagliari with the intention of keeping pace at the top of the table alongside Inter Milan whom they are locked on 42 points with. Cagliari are currently 6th on 29 points despite consecutive defeats to Lazio and Udinese and now they face Juventus who they haven’t beat since 2009. 

At home Juventus have won seven matches from eight, drawing the other and they have taken more points from home games (22) than any other side in Serie A after eight games at home. The Turin giants have conceded just nine goals and have kept three clean sheets. The Old Lad have won three of their last five games and the only side to beat them this year is Lazio who have gotten the better of them twice.  

Cagliari meanwhile, enjoyed a 14-game unbeaten run in Serie A before it was cut short prior to Christmas. An amazing streak that seen them fly up the table thanks to their consistency unlike the regular European contenders none so more than Napoli. Away from they do have just one win in six drawing another four but the 2-1 defeat to Udinese last time out remains their only defeat on the road this season.
