Juventus vs Atalanta Prediction & Betting Tips - Serie A

Juventus are still unbeaten in Serie A after 11 games and are now only four points behind leaders Milan. They are fourth in the table, six points and four places above visitors Atalanta. It's been a big week for Juventus with a 3-0 win in Barcelona, followed by Sunday's 3-1 victory at Genoa.  They had to wait until the 57th minute at Genoa to break the deadlock. Two goals from Cristiano Ronaldo sealed their fourth straight league and cup win. That's four goals in two games for Ronaldo and when he's in form, the rest of the league gets scared. Juventus have the best home record in the league with four of their five games won. Only Verona have been able to come away from Turin with a point. Their last home league game was a 2-1 win over Torino. That wasn’t an easy one as they trailed early on and needed an 89th minute goal to get the winner. Just one of their last 45 home league games has ended in defeat. That was inflicted on them by AS Roma in August when the title had already been won.

Atalanta qualified for the knock-out stages of the Champions League in midweek. They returned to Serie A action needing points after earning just one from their previous three league fixtures. Sunday saw a return to form though as they beat Fiorentina 3-0 at home. They are down in eighth place though and six points behind the top four. A loss here could see that gap grow to nine points if Napoli can also win in midweek.  Away form this season has seen them win three, draw one and lose one. They also of course won all three away matches in their Champions League group, including wins at both Liverpool and Ajax. Only one of their last 15 Serie A league games has been lost and that includes a 2-2 draw at Juventus earlier this year. Atalanta have become known for their high-scoring games and that reputation is being kept up this season, at least in their away league games. Five matches on the road have seen 19 goals scored. 11 of their last 13 in Serie A have seen both teams score a goal. A win for Juventus is the tip here, for a side bet perhaps link that up with a home win and both teams scoring.
