Ons Jabeur is through to round two of the grass court Berlin Open despite losing in the qualifying rounds. The Tunisian was given a lucky loser's spot and after her win on Monday, takes on fourth seed Jasmine Paolini. Here's our match prediction.

Both of these players are former WImbledon finalists but failed to win the Grand Slam. Paolini did that last year and won eight of her ten matches played on this surface in 2024. That also included reaching the last four at Eastbourne.

The world number five is playing her first grass court tournament of the year. Her recent form has been good with the Rome Open title being won and getting to round four at Roland Garros.

Ons Jabeur is the world number 61 and was the losing finalist at Wimbledon in 2022 and 2023. Her form has dipped this year with only 14 of her 26 matches being won. Jabeur had to qualify for this tournament's main draw and lost to Wang Xinyu, failing to win a game in the final set.

The 30-year-old was then reinstated as a lucky loser and beat Caroline Dolehide in round one.
