Jannik Sinner vs Stefanos Tsitsipas Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Italian Open

Tenth seeded Jannik Sinner is up against the fourth seed Stefanos Tsitispas in the Rome Masters quarter finals. Sinner is the only Italian left in the men's singles and the winner of this match faces either second seeded Alexander Zverev or unseeded Cristian Garin in the last four. Sinner began this week ranked 13th but is up to 12th in the live rankings and can move to 11th if beating Tsitsipas. Sinner is in the quarter finals of the Rome Masters for the first time in his career. He's been consistent this year and this is his fifth quarter final appearance of 2022 and the second in three clay court events. He's had wins this week over Pedro Martinez, Fabio Fognini (in three sets) and in the last 16, Filip Krajinovic.

Stefanos Tsitsipas is world ranked fourth but there's still a big gap between himself and third placed Alexander Zverev. He's already won one clay court Masters event with success in Monte Carlo for the second successive year. Only Nadal and Alcaraz have earned more ranking points this year than the Greek. Tsitsipas reached the final in Rome three years ago and is again proving a tough player to beat on this surface. This week has seen him defeat Grigor Dimitrov and Karen Khachanov, both going to a final set. Tsitsipas beat Sinner in the Australian Open this year, that made it three wins in four against the Italian. Three times they have met on clay, with Tsitsipas 2-1 up. Two of those meetings on clay were in this tournament with the score 1-1. Tsitsipas seems to have more gears than Sinner at present and he can get the win to reach the last four.
