Poland have already qualified from Group G with 19 points from their eight games. They travel to Israel who are fifth in the table but still clinging onto the hope they can finish in the top two. Israel have to win their last two group matches to have any chance of making it to the finals. They are five points behind second placed Austria with North Macedonia and Slovenia also ahead of the Israeli side and also on 11 points. Israel's chances of qualification are fairly slim because Austria's last match is away at Latvia who have lost all eight of their qualifiers. All Israel can do is try to win this match against the group leaders and then win in North Macedonia. Israel have won two and drawn two at home in this group scoring nine goals but conceding five. Both teams have scored in all four home games, even Latvia who have only scored twice in the group.

Poland top the group and if they match the result Austria get at home to North Macedonia, they will win the group. That's important as far as it comes to the calculation of seedings for the finals. Poland have only lost one of their group games, a 2-0 away loss to Slovenia. That match was the only one in this group in which Poland have actually conceded a goal. They have won all of their other three away games and will look to get a win here against a side they beat 4-0 at home. Back the away side to win this match.
