This is a crucial game at the top of Serie A. Inter are second in the table and could go top if beating fourth placed Juventus but need to improve their form. The home side are three points behind leaders Milan (who travel to Cagliari this weekend) but have only earned one point from their last two games. A loss at Sampdoria was nearly followed by another at home to AS Roma, before a 86th minute equalizer. Before that, Inter had won eight league games in a row and need to return to that kind of form. Their home record has seen them win six of their eight home league fixtures with their only defeat being inflicted by Milan. Their last five at home in Serie A have all been won but four were against sides currently in the bottom eight, including two in the relegation zone. They did get a 1-0 home win over Napoli. That was the only one of their last eight home league games that hasn't seen over 2.5 goals scored.

Juventus are battling hard to win their tenth straight Serie A title. Since a shock home loss to Fiorentina, Juventus have won three league games in a row, scoring ten goals. The trio of victories has taken them to fourth but still seven points off the top of the table. They do have a game in hand but need to keep their winning run going to be in with a chance of catching Milan. Cristiano Ronaldo has scored three goals in the last three league games. He needs to keep that kind of scoring rate up for the rest of the season. Away form for Juventus has seen them yet to lose a game this season in Serie A. However, eight games have produced just four wins. It's getting better though as only one of the first five were won. Juventus head to Inter looking to make it four away league wins in a row  The most recent one was a 3-1 win at leaders Milan and they'll be looking for a repeat performance this weekend.
