Internazionale start their title defence at home, against Genoa in the Italian Serie A this Saturday. The Italian champions will have a number of changes in their team after last season’s triumph but remain a formidable side. Achraf Hakimi, Romelu Lukaku and title winning manager Antonio Conte have all left, and Lautaro Martinez’s future doesn’t seem sorted as yet. Meanwhile the team has brought in Simone Inzaghi as the new manager and already signed Dutchman Denzel Dumfries and Edin Dzeko. They go to this game on the back of a good preseason too and will be favorites at the start of the season. Genoa will be glad not to be facing Lukaku anymore; the Belgian has six goals in the last four matches against Genoa. However, one thing remains, that in the last six matches against Inter, Genoa haven’t scored a goal. Inter have been dominant in this fixture to the effect that they’ve led at half time and full time in five of the last six meetings. In Serie A Genoa will be hoping for a good break too, as they’ve managed just four wins in the last 17 matches, while in the last five, they have three losses. They have conceded two or more goals in three of their last five matches in Serie A.
