Inter Milan vs Brescia Prediction & Betting Tips - Serie A

Inter Milan aim to keep their faint title hopes alive when they host Brescia in Serie A on Wednesday night. After the weekend games they are third in the table amd now host Brescia who are one from bottom in Serie A. Brescia climbed off the bottom of the table after a 2-2 home draw with Genoa on Saturday but are still eight points from safety.  They have failed to win any of their last 13 Serie A games and their laat two league wins came against the other sides currently in the bottom three. Brescia are unlikely to end that run against an Inter side undefeated in 18 of their last 21 games. Inter have only lost one of their 14 home matches in the current campaign and haven't lost any of their last five encounters with Brescia. The last time Brescia managed to beat Inter was in 2004, when they recorded a 3-1 over the Nerazzurri. While victory for the away side is unlikely, Brescia have achieved better results away from home in Serie A this season, winning three on the road compared to a solitary victory at home. A first win in months looked to be on the cards in their recent home game versus Genoa only for them to throw away a two-goal lead and draw 2-2.

Inter also suffered a deflating draw recently when they played out a six-goal thriller with Sassuolo. The weekend saw them win 2-1 at Parma, a good result considering they were a goal down going into the 84th minute. Antonio Conte's first season in charge began so promisingly but ultimately shows that this Inter team is a work in progress. They suffer from a habit of choking on a big occasion. If they are to stand any chance of catching Juventus then they have to at least win their home games which is what makes that draw with Sassuolo all the more disappointing. In Lukaku and Martinez, Inter have a strikeforce capable of scoring past the best defences in Europe. They will be without Martin Skriniar after the defender's red card against Sassuolo and also had a red card for Tomas Bierni at Parma. Inter are capable of outgunning opponents when leaky as their run of at least two goals in their last three home matches shows. We suggest placing a bet on Inter to win in a match featuring over 2.5 goals.
