Inter Milan vs Empoli Prediction & Betting Tips - Serie A

Inter start the final set of Serie A fixtures in fourth place. They could finish third but may also miss out on the Champions League. They are a point ahead of neighbours AC Milan who travel to 11th place SPAL who have lost their last two league games. Inter have been making heavy work of it in recent weeks with just two wins from their last seven league games and they were against the bottom two sides in the table. Only one of their last seven home league games has been lost but three of the last four have ended all-square. 

Empoli are one place and a point above the relegation zone. It's between themselves and Genoa for the drop and their rivals are away to Fiorentina. Genoa have only won one of their last 10 league games but Fiorentina haven't won any of theirs, so Empoli have to be concerned that a loss to Inter might just send them down. A point wouldn't even be enough to save Empoii if Genoa did get a win and their away record isn't inspiring. They have only earned eight away points all season but their only victory on the road was in their last game as they won at Sampdoria. Inter have a strong home record and should be able to get the win they need, a bit of help from Fiorentina might help as Empoli might relax if they are beating Genoa.
