The new season saw them begin with a defeat at the New Orleans Saints. They led in that game 14-3 at half time but a second half comeback by the Saints saw the home side get the win. Houston were 9-3 in games against the other sides in the AFC South last season. Up against the Jacksonville Jaguars who finished bottom of this division last season with a 5-11 record, the Texans will be expecting a home win here making it three wins in a row against them. Jackonsville had a poor season last year and only the Jets and the Raiders had a worst record in the AFC. They haven't made the play-offs since 2017 and began this season with a home loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. This will be tough for the Jaguars, go for Houston to get the win.
