Houston Texans are top of the AFC South after the first three games of the new NFL season. They have a 2-1 record and will hope to keep that positive total with a win over Carolina Panthers who are bottom of NFC South with a 1-2 season record. Houston had an 11-5 record last season  and lost in the play-offs to the Indianapolis Colts. For the third year in a row lost their seasonal opener going down 30-28 at New Orleans Saints despite leading going into the final quarter. Since then, they have beaten Jacksonville Jaguars 13-12 and coming from a ten-point deficit to defeat Los Angeles Chargers.

Carolina Panthers made a poor start to the season losing both of their opening games. That was the first time that had happened to the Panthers since the 2013 season. The two losses both came at home as they lost to the LA Rams 30-27 despite a good comeback in the final quarter. That was followed by a 20-14 defeat by the Tampa Bay Bucaneers. They finally got their first win of the season with a 38-20 win at Arizona Cardinals who are bottom of the NFC West. Go for Houston Texans to get the win in this game to go 3-1 for the season.
