The Houston Rockets will welcome the Indiana Pacers in their final match of 2025 in the NBA. The Rockets currently have the fourth-best record in the Western Conference, whereas their visitors are rock bottom in the East. Read on to find our prediction for this match.

The Rockets will close out 2025 at home and will seek a big victory as we approach the second half of the season. Ime Udoka’s men had a shaky month in December as they lost half of the 12 games they contested.

They, however, spent most of the month on the road. The Rockets, who have won nine of 11 games at home, are on a two-match winning run. They followed up a Christmas Day blowout win over the Lakers with a 117-100 home win over the Cavaliers. Alperen Sengun missed the game with an injury and is doubtful for the Pacers.

The Pacers have one more game to conclude the year and will hope for some relief as they seek to navigate a turbulent campaign. Rick Carlisle’s men, who made the NBA finals last term, have been one of the whipping boys this season.

They have lost 26 of 32 contests, which is the worst return thus far. To make matters worse, the visitors are currently on an eight-game skid and are coming up against a team in strong form when at home.

The Pacers are coming off a 142-116 loss in Miami. It was the second successive outing in which they had allowed at least 140 points.
