EuroLeague leaders Hapoel Tel Aviv will welcome playoff hopefuls Kaunas Zalgiris on Tuesday. This is the first-ever meeting between the two. Read on to find our prediction for this match. 

Hapoel got back to winning ways in Europe last time out. As this is their last piece of action in 2025, they will be keen to keep it as such. The Israeli giants, who are having an excellent debut campaign in Europe’s premier club competition, won away to Bayern. 

Dimitrios Itoudis’s men were 82-72 winners in Munich, improving their record to 13-5. Hapoel have won six of eight matches at home and are averaging 91.8 points while doing so.

Kaunas Zalgiris are playing rather fluently when away from home in terms of their offense and are also putting up 91 points. This strong form, however, hasn’t translated into the win column, especially recently. 

The Lithuanian giants have won just one of their last four away fixtures in the EuroLeague. Half of their losses have also come on the road. 

Tomas Masiulis’s men, who sit eighth in the standings with 10 wins from 18 games, lost their most recent fixture. A 92-85 loss at home to Panathinaikos kept them from moving right back into the top six.
