Ghana are ranked 50th in the world and face a tough task to make it into the quarter finals of the African Cup of Nations. They have to get past Tunisia who are currrently ranked 25th in the world and in Africa, only Senegal have a higher placing. Ghana have won this tournament on four occasions but their last victory was 37 years ago. Despite the long wait for another title, Ghana are the model of consistency in this tournament. They have reached at least the semi-final in each of the last six events and been runners-up twice. This year their campaign began with a 2-2 draw with Benin who are already in the quarter finals. They followed that up with a goalless draw against defending champions Cameroon before clinching qualification with a 2-0 win over Guinea-Bissau. Seven of their last nine games have seen under 2.5 goals scored in them.
Tunisia have only one Africa Cup of Nations title in their history and that came in 2004. Since that win they have reached the quarter finals in every tournament aside from 2010 when failing to make it out of their group. Their 2019 campaign has seen them finish second in their group behind Mali. Three games only produced three points and they drew all of their group matches. They opened with a 1-1 draw with Angola and repeated that scoreline in a stalemate with eventual group winners Mali. Their final fixture saw them held to a goalless draw by Mauritania. All three of those opponents are ranked lower than Ghana with Angola and Mauritania both outside the top 100. Five of their last seven internationals have had under 2.5 goals scored in them. Not surprisingly perhaps, the tip for this game is under 2.5 goals to be scored.

Our Ghana vs Tunisia Prediction
This should be a closely fought game between these two African nations. Ghana have a great record in this tournament and the 2-2 draw with Benin doesn't look too bad now. They have won their last two games against Tunisia but the last meeting was six years ago. Tunisia have had three draws so far and twice been held by sides ranked outside the top 100. Ghana may have the edge here but a bet on under 2.5 goals to be scored looks the best option.
