There are two games remaining in Euro 2020 qualifying group C and Germany still have work to do to clinch qualification. They are in second place, behind the Netherlands but three points ahead of Northern Ireland with Belarus fourth. Germany play the Irish in their final fixture but may well have qualified by then. A win over Belarus and failure by Northern Ireland to beat the Netherlands will see Germany in the finals. They have 15 points in this group, that's 11 more than their opponents in this game and from a match less. Germany have only had two home games in this group so far. They lost to the Netherlands 4-2 but beat Estonia 8-0. The reverse fixture between these two countries ended in a 2-0 win for Germany.

The Germans have to finish in the top two of this group to reach the finals. That's because of their disastrous Nations League campaign that saw them relegated. Belarus won their group against much lower ranked opposition. That means they are guaranteed a place in the play-offs. Belarus have only earned one win in this group, an away victory in Estonia. Their other away matches have seen them lose to both Northern Ireland (2-1) and the Netherlands (4-0).  Germany can be backed to win this match and be ahead at both half and full time.
