Gabriel Diallo suffered an early setback in London but he is back on the grass to face Jaume Munar in Mallorca. This first round match will also be the second meeting between the players. The winner will proceed to face Laslo Djere and we have the prediction below.

Diallo won his first ever ATP tour title after beating Zizou Bergs in Hertogenbosch. He couldn't follow it up with a deep run in London, as he was checked off by Jiri Lehecka in the second round.

The Canadian will hope to keep striking while his metal is still hot. He has six wins in his last seven matches, and won seven of 10 on grass.

Munar will be hoping for some home comforts when he switches to the Mallorca Open. He is coming from an all-Spanish affair at the ATP London, where he fell in the second round to Carlos Alcaraz.

Munar will take credit for putting up a big fight against one of the world’s best players. He will need more of that here, as he looks to avenge his loss to Diallo at the US Open last season.

However, his record at the Mallorca Open isn’t really great. This is Munar’s fourth appearance but all his previous three ended in the opening round. He also comes here bearing four losses in the last six matches.
