Kimi Antonelli leads the 2026 driver standings with 131 points, 43 points ahead of his teammate George Russell, while Charles Leclerc is in third with 75 points. Let's get into the prediction.
Kimi Antonelli continued his unbelievable start to the 2026 Formula 1 season by clinching pole position for the Monaco Grand Prix during a thrilling qualifying afternoon on Saturday.
The Mercedes driver has all the momentum he could have hoped for heading into Sunday’s Grand Prix, having become the first driver to win his first four Grand Prix in succession ahead of this weekend.
Antonelli clocked an impressive time of 1m 12.051, 0.043 seconds faster than four-time champion Max Verstappen, who is now a serious contender, having secured a spot on the front row.
Ferrari were heavily fancied to dominate proceedings in Monte Carlo on Saturday, but it wasn’t to be. However, they are still in the mix, with Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc claiming P3 and P4, while Isack Hadjar completes the top five.
Lando Norris won here in Monaco last year, but a lacklustre qualifying session saw the reigning champion forced to settle for P8 behind his teammate George Russell (P6) and Oscar Piastri (P7).
Alpine’s Pierre Gasly and Liam Lawson of Racing Bulls round out the top 10.
