In a game with little meaning for the group table, bottom side Finland face off with leaders Germany to conclude the action in Group B. The German side must be buoyed after beating Spain to not only clinch top spot but also end the Rojas’ formidable twenty-four game winning streak. Despite the Spanish team applying pressure throughout, Germany’s resilient backline endured, recording their fourth clean sheet in the last five games. Die Nationalelf do not relax, even in fringe games and they will look to add upon their impressive goal scoring streak, having managed to score in thirteen of their last fourteen games. As if that was not enough, Germany boast an impressive performance in their past meetings against Finland, having won all six games and keeping clean sheets in five of those.  

Already being outsiders to progress from the group, The Boreal Owls fought hard but could not prevent their Scandinavian rivals Denmark from beating them 1-0 and eliminating them from the competition. It is now just pride for the Finnish side, who have scored once and conceded five in their two group games so far and will be looking to at least add some more to their name. This certainly won’t be easy however, with four defeats in a row to their name as well as failing to score in five of their last nine. The Scandinavian side will want to end the tournament on a high note, and showed against Spain that they can trouble the elite sides, yet they will have to overcome their poor tradition against Die Nationalelf, against whom they have not even scored in five of their previous six meetings.
