Barcelona look a good bet to retain their Women's Champions League title. They take on Lyon who have won this trophy on seven previous occasions and lost in two finals. Some leagues have close finishes but not the Women's Primera League in Spain. Barcelona won all 30 of their games, winning the title by 24 points, scoring 159 goals and conceding just 11. They have done well in the Women's Champions League too and had won 11 games in a row before losing the second leg of their semi-final at Wolfsburg. That's the only loss they have suffered in their last 45 games.

Lyon have a fantastic record in the Women's Champions League but Barcelona are overtaking them. They did beat Barcelona in the International Champions Cup in August 2021 but it's going to be tough for them to win this final. They are top of the French league but only five points clear of PSG who they still have to play. They beat their French rivals in the semi-finals of this competition, winning both legs for a 5-3 aggregate win. That followed a tough quarter final against Juventus. They lost the away first leg 2-1 but won 3-1 at home to progress. This should be an entertaining final between the top two women's teams in Europe and it's Barcelona who can get the win.
