Six of those victories had come in the league where they are again in the reckoning for a top-six finish. Boro are among the last 16 in the League Cup for the first time since the 2018/19 season. They defeated Bradford City 2-0 away from home in the last round. Tuesday's visitors have seen all their four matches in this season's competition played away from home.
