The European Nations League begins and England host Spain in this League A group match. The other team in the group are Croatia who England will be familiar with after losing to them in the World Cup semi-final. Both teams will want to get off to a good start or the pressure will be on for the next game and a poor opening result will heighten the threat of relegation to League B. It’s an important game for England as they have to live up to the expectations that came from reaching the last four in Russia. Lots of possession but a lack of attacking was their problem in Russia and they will be without David Silva who’s now retired from international football. Excluding penalty shoot—out defeats, Spain have gone 15 away games without defeat, last losing at Euro 2016. Three of the last four Spain internationals have ended in score draws.  This is a tough match to predict but a double chance bet on Spain should get you a profit.
