It was all going ok for Real Madrid on Sunday until that last minute winner for Barcelona. That Messi goal took Barca to the top of La Liga though both sides have the same number of points. Madrid do still have that vital game in hand though. The new league leaders play the day before Real and seeing they are home to bottom of the table Osasuna, it's likely that Barcelona will be three points ahead of Real. Deportivo are 16th in the table, two places above the relegation zone but with an eight point advantage so have little to play for really. Form isn't great with only one win in the last six games but they do hold a home league victory over Barcelona. Real Madrid have won their last seven away league and cup games with both teams scoring in all of those matches.  Madrid know nothing but a win is going to be good enough here and can get the win.
