Denmark vs France Prediction & Betting Tips - World Cup

France have already qualified for the last sixteen after winning their two opening group games. They lead the group by two points from Denmark so a draw will be enough to see them through to a game against the runners-up in Group D which looks like being either Iceland or Argentina. The French side have had their moments in the two games they have played to date but not been dominant thoughout and there will  be tougher tasks in this tournament than the ones they have to face in this group. Mbappe has been impressive so far and he looks like being one of the stars of this World Cup. France actually had less possesion against Peru and if their opponents had been more potent up front, it could have been a different result. They are already through to the knock-out stages but will want to go on and win the group as the runners-up in Group C face the Group D winners and that looks like being Croatia who have been impressive in their wins over Nigeria and Argentina.

It looked as if Denmark might also reach the knock-out stages with a game to spare when they took an early lead against Australia but a VAR penalty decision got the Socceroos back in the game and the match ended 1-1. That puts the Danes in a strange position where they could still finish first, second or third in this group. Victory over France would see them finish top and that could lead to an all-Scandinavian game against Iceland. A  draw sees them through as runners-up but a loss to France would have them checking the score in the Australia v Peru match and hoping Australia don't win.  Denmark's boss admits his team tired in the game against Australia and they certainly can't afford to do that against France who have plenty on the bench. They also can't afford to give the ball away as much as they have so far in this tournament and thats why the tip here is to go for France to get the win and finish top of the group.
