Czech Republic vs England Prediction & Betting Tips - Euro

Both England and Czech Republic drew their Round 2 matches in Group D and they will be fighting for top spot in the group when they face off in the final game. The Czechs drew their second game 1-1 with Croatia after taking the lead in the first half.  England were left dejected after their 0-0 draw with Scotland. Going to the game, both sides have four points but separated by the fact Czech have  a better goal difference. Ahead of this competition, Czech were not really fancied to go far and a 4-0 loss to Italy reinforced that, especially having also lost to Wales in the World Cup qualifiers and twice to Scotland in the Nations League. They have proven a few doubters wrong though, with Patrick Schick impressive in the opening two matches with three goals, one of them a spectacular long ranger against Scotland. They’ve now gone unbeaten in their last three matches and competitively, they have one loss only in the last seven. They did beat England in the qualifiers and will be hoping to do the same here.

England lost 2-1 in their last meeting with Czech Republic but the last time the two nations met at Wembley it ended 5-0 in England’s favor with Raheem Sterling getting a hat trick. The Three Lions are coming from a lackluster performance against Scotland and will want to give home fans something to cheer here. They didn’t have a very strong performance against Scotland and were frustrated for a better part of the game while top striker Harry Kane had an unusually silent outing at Wembley. Gareth Southgate’s line-up also came under a lot of fire yet in all fairness, even in their opening 1-0 win over Croatia, England didn’t look really convincing. The big positive England carry to this game is the fact they haven’t conceded in any of their last four matches. However, despite all the attacking talent, England haven’t managed a win by a margin more than a goal in their last five matches.
